If you play poker at any competitive level then you know the name Phil Hellmuth. A poker player extraordinaire, Phil was the youngest Main Event winner in 1989, holds 67 cashes, and holds the record for the most cashes, which incidentally, includes four from this year’s World Series of Poker. A true Master of the Bluff, Hellmuth walked up to the WSOP table escorted by eleven military clad models each of whom represented one of the 11 championship Texas Hold'em bracelets he currently holds.

Musical creator Tim Molyneux has teamed up with Phil Hellmuth and the World Series of Poker to create "All In: The Poker Musical", scheduled to run July 4th and 5th at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino during the beginning of the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event.

The story revolves around the final nine players at the WSOP Main Event and songs are reportedly interlaced with poker analogies and quotes. Hellmuth worked closely with Molyneux and even has his own character in the show.

Madison native Phil Hellmuth, Jr., has lead a pretty thrilling life.

At the age of 43, he's a legend in his chosen field, poker. He's won a record 11 World Series of Poker bracelets. He's won millions of dollars. He's been inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame. He's hobnobbed with celebrities and stayed in the most lavish hotel suites in the world. This year, a film crew is chronicling his quest for a 12th bracelet for a possible documentary.

"I've done some pretty cool things," Hellmuth said during a recent visit to Milwaukee.

A recent trip to the Miller Brewing Co. ranks near the top of the list.

After attending the Kentucky Derby, where he received VIP treatment and ran a charity poker event, Hellmuth stopped in Milwaukee on his way to another event in South Carolina.
