Mega WSOP Main Event Satellites This Sunday

Two of the most popular poker sites on the net, PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, will be guaranteeing a total of 350 WSOP Main Event packages this Sunday!  As online sites wind down their WSOP package promotions and gear up for the Main Event, online poker players from around the world can take their shot at competing for millions of dollars at this year's WSOP.

The WSOP Main Event "semi-finals" (as they're called by many poker sites) provide the best chance at winning packages that include an entry into the $10,000 Main Event, hotel accommodations, and travel expenses.  The first mega satellite this Sunday will take place at 4:30pm ET, with the 200 Seat Guaranteed event on PokerStars.  The tournament buy-in is $350+20; with at least 200 players walking away with $12,500 to go towards entry and expenses at the 2008 World Series of Poker.  In conjunction with the WSOP, PokerStars is giving away double Frequent Player Points for all WSOP satellites played.  To find the qualifier, go to the main lobby and click on the 'Events' tab and then the 'WSOP' tab. 

Just 90 minutes later, Full Tilt Poker will host its mega WSOP satellite.  At 6:00pm ET, the 150 Seat Guaranteed tournament will begin.  The buy-in will be $500+35, with the winners earning $12,000 in cash to go towards this year's Main Event.  To find the qualifier, go to the main lobby and click on the 'Tournaments' tab and then the 'Series' tab.  Packages include an entry in the $10,000 Main Event, plus money for hotel and expenses.
